Memory

Explore and manage memories in Tvix. Browse the knowledge graph and table view, filter by source, assign projects, and understand how memories are created and deleted.

Memory stores distilled personal/work knowledge (claims, decisions, relationships) — not raw email/calendar/Drive dumps. Connectors keep source material in artifacts (see Sources); cognify extracts short knowledge units into Memory and the temporal graph.

Tip: Looking for curated project notes? That lives in the Knowledge Wiki. Memory = knowledge graph; Sources/artifacts = raw; Wiki = theme-curated knowledge. Agents can search Memory and Wiki.

Exploring Memory

The Memories view in your Brain offers two views:

ViewWhat you seeInteractions
Graph ViewRelated memory structure as a mind mapExplore nodes and connections
Table ViewMemories with source, project, and timeFilter, search, assign project, delete

Table View

  • Browse memories with content previews and source tags
  • Filter by date range and source (calendar, gmail, slack, capture, etc.)
  • Text-filter the loaded list
  • Assign a memory to a wiki project
  • Delete individual memories
  • Promote a memory into a wiki note when useful

Graph View

Interactive graph of your memory structure. Use it to explore relationships; manage edits and deletes from the table (or detail) flows.

Creating Memories

Memories enter Tvix through agents, Chat, paste imports, and integrations. Creating memories directly as a blank form on the Memories tab is not the primary path — use a connected agent, Chat, or Sources.

SourceHow
Agent conversationsAgent calls capture_memory
Chat in DashboardChat can call capture_memory when you ask to save context
Sources importsPaste ChatGPT/Claude/Gemini exports on Sources
IntegrationsGmail, Calendar, Slack, GitHub, Notion sync artifacts; TKF cognify writes short knowledge claims into Memory (not full source bodies)

Updating and projects

  • Agents typically capture updated facts as new memories rather than editing rows in place.
  • Assign or change a memory’s related wiki project from the Memories UI, or via MCP assign_memory_project.

Deleting Memories

  1. Open Table View on Memories.
  2. Open the memory and delete it, or use the delete control on the row when available.
  3. Confirm — deleted memories cannot be recovered.

Disconnecting an integration stops future sync; it does not automatically wipe existing memories.
